It's a great opportunity to work with Prof. Mohan Maharshi. Indeed, professionally I have learnt a lot working with him. Tomstoppords's radio play 'Albert's Bridge', turning to a stage play is a quite interesting experiment. Even though it was from another media, it still has the relevance. This production uses the published text as a starting point. As the production grew, there were all kinds of sensibilities, ideas, concepts which poured into the final form varied sources.
Apparently it has a story, but various forms of extra theatrical inputs have rendered that story incidental. Forms, images, both audio and visual, emphasize many different layers of meanings to provide a unique sensory experience to the audience.
Being a stage manager of this play, movement of the actors had given me to understand the lines of the play and to write down the blog. The strong structure and an uncommon movements of the actors and actresses is a great strength of the play.
I was the stage manager and Production in charge for this play. The play was performed at University of Hyderabad
